The Cloisters in Sorrento is a beautiful place to marry, especially if you fancy getting married outdoors – something that’s not common at all in Italy.

I took a few shots of the couple in The Cloisters, Sorrento after the ceremony.

Love this! Louise had been looking forward to an ice-cream all morning and took the opportunity the moment the ceremony had finished. Heaven!

The wedding party walked to Photo Bar in Sorrento after The Cloisters ceremony. They laughed all afternoon long.

The bride’s sister Hannah and her boyfriend Mark wanted a portrait of themselves – but something a little different …

Louise, one of our biggest fans and website, blog and Facebook stalkers of all time and a truly wonderful bride married the lovely Gav in Sorrento on Tuesday the 3rd August. Just 13 guests and their wedding photographer (!), a romantic ceremony in The Cloisters, Sorrento and a great party in Photo Bar, Sorrento made for a wonderful and fun day.

More about the day in a weeks time but for now, just one taster. Mid-August is always an exceptionally busy time for us, especially with all of the travel that we have to do for weddings. Our daughter Chenin was 6 months old this week and is about to embark upon her 7th trip to the UK! Gav & Louise, we have worked our socks off this week to ensure that when we arrive back in a week’s time you will not have to wait long for all of your images.
