December Weddings

December 17th, 2006 admin No comments

…can be amazing. Sure it can be cold, but the light (when you have it) is amazing. Yesterday we photographed the wedding of Paul & Anna at St Catherine’s Church in Lowton followed by their reception at Kilhey Court, Standish. It was a lovely cold and clear winter’s day & although it did rain later on, I doubt anyone noticed as the bar was open! The speeches were all hilarious as you can probably tell from one of the images below. The party was in full swing when we finally finished late in the evening.

Thank you all for your hospitality and kind words. Here are a few images – hot off the press. -AT

More ‘Gallery’ images

In between other jobs, I’m continuing to add to the galleries on the main website. At this point, there are two wedding galleries: one is more ‘arty’, the other more ‘photo-journalistic’. Their purpose is to showcase the different approaches that we apply when shooting a wedding. Neither of us particularly prefer one method or the other – we think there’s a place for both styles in our albums and different parts of the day particularly suit one style or the other; however, if you particularly want the ‘fly on the wall’ treatment with no prompting from us, that’s easily done. The choice is yours! -AT
