I’ve always resisted spamming our website with keywords and instead have tried to keep it ‘honest’ with decent content and, above all, looking good. Having been gazumped by yet another cheap website though in Google’s rankings, I’ve decided that if Google won’t do anything about these sites, then the only way to compete is to play them at their own game. You’ll notice that our main entrance page has changed slightly: the light grey text towards the footer is purely there for the benefit of the search engines. We’ve always ranked extremely well with Yahoo, MSN, AOL and others, but Google is a real battle to maintain a ranking, and it seems that it continues to be the most important of all. Sigh… -AT
Well, our regular email server is back working again so our info@imag1ne.com address is the one to contact us on. We’re not happy with our hosting company as they neglected to tell us anything at all for over 48 hours – not good for our business as we pride ourselves on rapid responses to all of our enquiries. With less than 2 months to go to our own wedding in Italy, we are realising just how tricky it can be to get things organised. The Italian way is very much ‘last minute’ compared to the business of wedding organising in the UK. We are also realising just how much more success you have when you discuss your plans face-to-face with suppliers rather than trying to use email, or even letter or telephone.
We are recommended by a handful of Wedding Planners who will take away the stress of trying to contact vendors. Now that we spend much more time in Italy, we are able to collaborate with more vendors. If you’re a Wedding Planner and would like to work with us, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Surrounded by fields which are mostly the property owners, it’s a beautifully renovated farmhouse. There’s way too much room for us – we’re not even using upstairs at all. By an amazing stroke of luck, we found out that the owners were really close friends with friends of ours out here. Consequently, we’re just having this house as ‘guests’ whilst our own house purchase is completed. I think they understandably prefer having someone in it, rather than have it sat empty. You can just make out the house on this photograph I took whilst wandering around the fields yesterday evening with Jasmine. -AT
