As well as shooting weddings-a-plenty recently and working all hours to get them processed in reasonable time, we’ve also been forced to update the website galleries by recent changes to the way that Internet Explorer in particular detects flash. We’ll gradually add images over the next couple of weeks to the weddings galleries and the portraits gallery will also be reinstated. Stay tuned! -AT

Dave and Nina were married in Siena on Sunday 17th September and had their reception at the gorgeous ‘La Selva’ Estate nearby. The day, predictably it seems for Tuscany in September, began with torrential rain and this lasted until just after the ceremony. Then the clouds parted and the sun shone for long enough for a quick walk through this most amazing of Italian towns. We have to sincerely thank them both for Dave’s kind words about us in his speech and hope we can repay their hospitality, trust and enthusiasm with some amazing images – no pressure!! -AT

Villa Casanuova near Montalcino, Italy was the venue for the wedding of Francisco & Kara on Thursday 14th September. They had travelled to Italy from their home in San Francisco to be married in style by Kara’s stepfather, although they probably didn’t count on quite so much wind & rain! Regardless, both they and their guests seemed to have a fantastic time and the fabulously ‘unique’ ceremony will never be forgotten by us either! Here are a couple of photos of the happy couple and an example of what the Italians can classily put together at short notice indoors! -AT

Chris & Kate were married on Saturday at the university chapel on ‘Keele campus’, after which they were driven round the corner to Keele Hall for their reception. Despite the Catholic priest being extremely anti-photography (which they certainly aren’t in Italy!) we got a few shots of them in church during the first hymn – better than nothing I guess!
The reception venue was predictably superb and we hope to have some great shots to sort through once we’re back from Italy. Here’s a couple for now. -AL

On Friday we were back at Rowton Castle for the 2nd time in a month – this time for the wedding of Yacine & Julie. The weather was gorgeous and we were made to feel incredibly welcome by their friends & family, once again reinforcing our belief that we have the best job in the world :) Amy even managed to make use of her French language skills with some of the non english-speaking guests, having barely spoken it since she lived there 7 years ago!
Here are a couple of photos, quickly processed on the MacBook (read NO photoshop!)
The boys – all completely mad!

Julie, looking naturally beautiful – and coping with the breeze!

If you’re looking for wedding-day entertainment, let us recommend a caricaturist!

Back on the subject of Rowton Castle, a big big thanks must go to Keith & Kate – both Assistant Managers, and their staff for the way that they make the wedding days flow. We obviously work at many venues but nowhere is better organized than here. They also look after us as well :) -AT
