Debbie & Ian were married on Saturday although Debbie decided to really make him sweat by turning up 20 minutes late! After that, it was a wonderful, relaxed day and we’ve got some really great images for them when they’re back from Barbados. A couple of the younger guests turned out to be complete naturals in front of the camera :) – AT

I think that one of the nicest compliments you can have as a wedding photographer is to be asked to photograph a fellow professional’s own wedding; it’s also one of the toughest jobs! On Friday, we photographed Stewart & Kathryn’s wedding in brilliant, warm sunshine. They’re a wonderful couple – very relaxed and ‘up for anything!’ Even the dog got in on the act with her own flowers! -AT

We photographed Lewis and his Mum & Dad at Ayr beach last weekend. They live so close to the beach that Lewis practically lives there and thought nothing of having his sandals taken off and going for a paddle in the ‘not-so-warm’ Irish Sea. The images I have chosen here however illustrate why we love our new 85mm f/1.2L lens – they’re 3D! – AL

In between processing the recent wedding images, I took a ‘fresh air break’ and did a ‘lifestyle’ photo shoot for Alan & Amanda. Here’s one quickly processed for the blog – I hope to have the whole session sorted by the end of the week. -AL

We’ve spent most of our time this week (apart from Andy having man-flu and watching a lot of football!!) processing images from the recent weddings. We love watching them all come together as the albums are designed and sometimes, images that you thought weren’t going to be particularly important, become some of your favourites. Here’s a couple of mad bridesmaids waiting for Beth to arrive at the church. -AL
