Who said February was a quiet month?

February 26th, 2006 admin No comments

I can’t really remember, but it was a photographer that I spoke to recently. We’ve been rushed off our feet with wedding bookings this month; the 2007 bookings are coming in thick and fast and we’re still taking occasional bookings for 2006. I have a feeling it’s going to be a very exciting year and we have some fantastic couples to photograph in a wide variety of venues. The new album is going down a storm with new clients although there are still a handful that prefer the “wow” factor of the Coffee Table Book. If you haven’t seen them, check out the FAQ & Pricing page in the main site. Ciao! -AT

Day of rest?

February 19th, 2006 admin No comments

No chance! Lots of work to do with new albums, website updates and more images to process. As we’re going to concentrate on the ‘wedding’ side of the business this year, we’ve removed the ‘Portrait Clients’ area to make room for more Wedding information. If anyone still requires access to them, just drop me a line and I’ll enable the appropriate gallery.

I promised more images from last weekend’s shoot – here’s another of Maria – AT

Jen & Maria

February 15th, 2006 admin No comments

We’ve just done some shots with two lovely girls – Jen & Maria, in some of the most run-down areas of town. They were both very professional in the 2C temperature and bitingly-cold wind. We think we got some great shots – here are a couple from the first few processed:

No 3A Folding Brownie

February 15th, 2006 admin No comments

Photography runs in our family and my Grandfather has a small collection of ‘old’ cameras; one of the most interesting of which is this Eastman Kodak No 3A Folding Brownie. I believe it dates from 1914-15 as it has the ‘Brownie Ball Bearing’ shutter. A lovely piece of engineering! -AT

Smiling eye

February 14th, 2006 admin No comments

We spent a few days with my Grandfather recently and I always take a photograph of him. This was taken using window-light only. As usual he insisted that he “keep a straight face and let his eyes do the smiling.” -AT
