Had a great night last night watching a Non Jovi gig at Pebbles in Troon. The lads played to a very enthusiastic crowd and when the power tripped during the encore it was the crowd that sung along with the drums to finish the gig off in style. Keep an eye out for forthcoming appearances at www.nonjovi.com. Infact, whilst you’re there, send Shad an email and prod him to update the website :) -AT

Just a quick post to wish everyone we know a Merry Christmas. For me it’s been a great day with some really cool presents and a lazy day in front of the TV. Joe Buissink books featured amongst my gifts; one of which was slightly er…unusual; more of that another time! Hope you all have a Happy New Year – see you in 2006! -AT

The rapid uptake on the business front has necessitated a new workstation. The new machine was going to be used almost entirely for photo post-processing – mainly photoshop. After spending a couple of months using Amy’s iBook, and loving OSX, I suddenly found myself seriously considering a G5 Powermac! It was a real dilemma for me – a die-hard PC enthusiast & Chris & Tony have a lot to answer for after making me even consider this! Well, after much thought, the deal was done and it arrived today. Some googling for coupons reduced the price of both the Mac and a Cinema Display for it and another coupon saved us 5% off 2Gb of RAM from Crucial. I have to be honest, it’s a seriously nice-looking (sexy?) computer and I’ll be plugging it all in tomorrow after fitting a 74Gb Raptor for the OS and applications to run from.
In the meantime, the PC which formally handled the graphics needs, will become the web front of our network; admin, web design, email, and for now, printing. I haven’t found anything for the Mac that compares in price and capability to the excellent Qimage. So we have Macs & PCs – the best of both worlds :) -AT

We had the privilege of photographing this beautiful 7-month old baby yesterday; our easiest model yet. Check out ‘McNally’ in our ‘Clients’ list for more. -AL

We were hired to photograph a party for Blue Machinery PLC over the weekend. Everyone seemed to have a fantastic time, the highlight of which was an exhausting stand-up routine by Bobby Davro. We could hardly hold the cameras for laughing as he barely paused for breath during his routine. He is an incredibly talented performer and his show was the funniest thing either of us have ever seen – and we were sober! Thanks to Pam & Karen for thinking of us for the job and here’s a ’snap’ of the man himself in full flow. – AL
